RAO II EXPEDITIONS

Thanks to its structure, RAO II Expeditions is a tool that, despite its compact size, manages to guarantee the functionality and features of a product with larger dimensions and greater strength.

Just like the other models belonging to the Expeditions series, the RAO II Expeditions features the handle and sheath in desert coloration.

The blade is made of heat-treated Böhler N690 steel at 58 HRC with MIL-C-13924 burnishing and a stone washed surface treatment (Dark Stone finish).

RAO II Expeditions is equipped with an ergonomic handle featuring rounded upper edges and a Drop point blade. It derives from the RAO model.

The new folder from the Expeditions series easily finds use in all heavy-duty tasks thanks also to the particularly resistant opening lock mechanism, supported by a safety system that transforms it into a proper fixed blade tool.

To ensure 100% hold of the locking mechanism during heavy work and severe impacts caused by the tool’s mass, a threaded steel pin has been applied, fitting into two holes on the guard of the massive anticorodal aluminum scale handles.

By screwing the pin into place, maximum safety is guaranteed to the user. All models in the Expeditions series are accompanied by desert color sheaths and include a firesteel among their various tools for starting fires.

RAO II Expeditions is no exception and comes with a desert cordura sheath, which is an essential component of the carry system. This special sheath allows the tool to be carried with the blade closed in the front pocket, or with the blade open inside the dedicated compartment featuring a safety system with a double clip strap. In addition to the firesteel, a diamond sharpener is also included.

The sheath’s fastening system with MOLLE system allows carry on vests with modular gear and standard belts.
